100 Dollar Store

I guess you could say that I have a love hate relationship with the local COSTCO store. I really love going there, but every time I do, I spend at least 100 dollars. They should change the name of that place to the “You are going to spend 100 dollars here” store.
Of course I try to be a smart shopper. I never go there if I am hungry. I always take a detailed list of what things I need. But the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Even though a gallon jug of peanut butter and a new computer monitor was not on my list, they somehow end up in my cart. And sometimes those samples will rope me in. You know what I am referring to: the lady with the pizza roll samples that are pretty good, so you toss a ten pound bag of frozen pizza rolls in your cart.
I have to say that they have figured out the whole checkout thing too. They go fast! At the one I go to you don’t even have to take the really heavy stuff out of your cart. The cashier will lean over with their handheld barcode scanner and get things like a case of bottled water. Or sometimes they just flip through a sheet which has been labeled by a barcode maker generator with popular heavy stuff and they zap that.
