Start Your Own Customer Rewards Programs

Customer rewards programs are a fantastic way to boost the sales of long-term business. When you give your customers the added incentive of free or discounted products, you motivate people to return time and time again. These programs maintain customer loyalty. And isn’t community loyalty what every business strives to receive?

So, don’t you think it’s time you offered your customers some sort of customer reward program? Try handing out plastic frequent buyer cards, which link with your computers. These cards can monitor the frequency of purchases each individual customer racks up and, then you can reward people accordingly. Or, if plastic cards are too expensive, simply offer paper cards, which you and/or your employees can manually punch or stamp. This method is much less costly, but has one significant downfall. Make sure you have a stamp or punch that is unique to your business so unscrupulous customers cannot cheat and mark their own cards.

Practically everyone belongs to a rewards program. Whether it’s an airline miles program, which offers free air miles the more you fly, or it’s a credit card company, which offers customers bonus points with each credit purchase, customer rewards programs are the future of good business.

As a business owner, I like the idea of using a plastic card for customer rewards. I want to be able to track their buying habits so that I can offer them better service and deals on products they actually buy.

Whether you use plastic cards or paper ones, it’s a good idea to give customers a freebie for ever ten purchases or something. I believe in anything that will get them coming back.
