Can you imagine what the celebrities must pay in taxes?  It is unbelievable to learn the amount the mega stars earn from filming a single movie.  Normal stars make a great living, but mega stars pull in a remarkable sum for six months (or even six weeks) of work.  Many of these stars are noble and donate much of their wealth to wonderful causes.  I certainly don’t begrudge their success; I just find the financial figures fascinating.  How much they rake in is shocking and it is further astounding to discover the cost someone like Brad Pitt pays for his amazing mansions.  Pitt’s love of architecture is admirable and I appreciate his enjoyment of structures rather than buying to feed an ego.    

It still causes me to pause and wonder if stars spend their money frivolously or if they consider the cost of items and the taxes they pay.  Do they bother to consider hiring cost segregation expert to reclassify their fixed asset investments or do they just let those items go and pay more than the rest of the smart and savvy business people of the world?

Surely they have assistants that walk in Hermes to purchase for Angelina (or Jen for that matter) their new Birkin bags, but do they have business advisors who care about cost segmentation?  I sure hope so because all the money they save can fund one of their new Africa related projects.
