Last night, my dogs got out and we had to go running around the neighborhood searching for them. It was kind of a drag because it was still a little bit cold out (even though it’s June!) but mostly because we were running around with flashlights at midnight. We spent about a half an hour looking for them, but we eventually got them back, lucky for us.

Sounds like it was sort of a waste of time, but it was actually kind of fun because we had occasion to go looking in a new development by us called Hidden Forest. These homes are the very latest style: a clean look of stone but with rather Japanese lines to the style. The lighting and landscaping were what were fun to see. A lot of people had those outdoor garden wall fountains. All in all, I got quite a tour of some very very lovely yards.

Now I want an outdoor garden wall fountain! I wonder how much they cost? I’d really have to debate where it would do the most good, though, because we really don’t ever sit in the actual yard, just up on our elevated deck. Seems like it would take away from the classiness of the design to put one there-it would just kind of be like another “thing” on the deck rather than adding to the landscape.

In order for a website to be successful, it needs to be both relevant and helpful for users, as well as being highly visible on the Internet. Here are a few elements of a successful website.

Easy to navigate. A logical layout and easy to find navigation buttons are a must for a successful website. You want customers to be able to find their way anywhere on your website, without having to hunt too hard for the right links.

Informational. A good website should offer all of the information potential customers would need. For example, check out these pages from Everblue Training Institute, with information about LEED accreditation and help passing the LEED exam.

Frequently updated. More frequently updated sites have two major advantages: They can get you listed higher in the search engines, and they keep customers coming back more frequently to see what’s new. Something as simple as a company blog can keep your site from becoming stagnant — just make sure your blog posts are useful and interesting to potential customers!

A good reputation. In order for a website to be successful, it has to first be noticed. Developing a good reputation means that you will also get lots of links from other sites that find your website useful and interesting.

There are, of course, other things that go into creating a successful website, but these are the basics you MUST have!

I have so many costumes and hats that I have collected over the years along with my big collection of plus size womens costume assortments that I am thinking about selling parts of it off so that I can make some money to buy some of the new things I want to get for fun. I have heard that ebay is a good place to sell things or maybe craigslist. If neither of those work very well there is always the good old garage sale that would probably be successful for me to get rid of stuff to people who like to haunt garage sales and yard sales looking for that perfect bargain.

I think the pieces that I have are really very cool and I would actually hate to part with it, but still I mean I have more than I really need and there are other things I would rather have now and I could really use the money to put towards those things instead of just working harder to buy more stuff when I have other things that are just sitting around gathering dust. I definitely do not want to be one of those people that just collects stuff for the sake of collecting it.

I have a dog that I have crate trained. Crate training is when you train your dog to be comfortable hanging out in their crate. They go in willingly and also sleep in the crate. It is convenient because you can ensure that people that do not like dogs will not be bothered by your dog when they come over to see you. PetSafe dog crates come in a bunch of different sizes for any size dog you may have. I have a large dog so I always look for cheaper things, one of them being a discount dog crate. My dog has to have a roomy crate so if I could save money somewhere; I wanted to make sure that his comfort came first.

One of the other things that I got for my dog was that invisible fence barrier. It is nice because my dog can go outside and I do not have to worry about him stepping out of our yard. It is run on invisible fence batteries, so I do not have to worry about it being charged to my electric bill. Both the crate training and the invisible fence barrier were great investments to keep my dog and my house safe and clean.
