It’s not the three kids part that is the craziest part of being a mom, it’s not even the part about having a career that is both demanding and constantly fluctuating; I swear to god it’s the driving.  I feel like I drive all day, every day.  I had to get a Blackberry so I could start doing work on the go and answer emails as soon as I get them, because so much of my life is spent behind the soft leather driving wheel of my lovely, reliable Toyota. 

Tomorrow, Kitty has to go to a soccer tournament, which is a small blessing because I can drop her off there, ferry the other kids about and then get back to her in time to see a game or two.  Then I have to pick Ben up from school and take him to the doctor, where I actually have to be mentally present, because the doctor wants to prescribe HGH for Ben and I want to know what the HGH side effects are.  Then he can stay in the car with me while we go pick up Emma, drop her friend Amy off at home, and then take all the kids back to the soccer tournament.  Then, of course, there’s the small issue of homework, dinner, and sleep.  We’ll get to that later!
