Becoming a Realtor in Tampa
By WVwriter on Oct 17, 2009 in Real Estate
I grew up idolizing my father. You see he was involved in real estate for as long as I can remember, and I thought that I would grow up some day and follow in his footsteps. You see, he was one of the most respected realtors in Tampa and I wanted to be the same someday.
What I didn’t realize that it was going to be a long road. You couldn’t just be a realtor without certification and experience. Much like a mechanic, I needed to get my time in, get some experience and follow the same road that my father traveled.
I wanted to do things on my own, so I talked to a Tampa Bay realtor friend of mine to see what I needed to do and where I could get a job where I could learn the ropes. He has set me up with an interview in a couple of days and hopefully I’ll get the job.
In the meantime, I am going to review the sample interview questions that he has given me so that I will be ready. This is my shot and I don’t want to mess it up. I just hope that I make my dad proud.
