San Diego County real estate is finally going through a down cycle (in terms of price). When my wife and I decided it was time to quit our jobs and start our own business, we felt that it would behoove us to invest part of our start up monies in owning the property we were going to do business at.

With that in mind we began to search for office space in San Diego hoping to find the right type of property that would allow our chocolate greeting card business to have every advantage we would need to succeed.

As we lived out in the El Cajon area (just east of San Diego along Highway we eventually found ourselves looking very seriously at Carlsbad, CA commercial real estate.

We both agreed that if we could find the work space we needed and it was in a cool, hip, up and coming community, we would surely make the move and purchase such a property.

Well, as fate and great luck would have it, not only were we able to find adequate space for our new business, but it also came with some lovely residential accomodations. Now we are able to hit the ground racing towards the success we both deserve.
