Traversing the New Store

It was a dark, stormy day. The rain fell so hard that each series of drops seemed to form their own layer on the street. The bus treaded through the water and through the falling rain. The fog enveloped everything. It wasn’t until it was right up to the building when the passengers caught their first glimpse of the IKEA. Luckily, there was an overhang and the passengers could get inside the store without getting wet. Inside, they dispersed and traversed the store’s many sections. In the bedroom section, the customers browsed each compartment, each complete with its own bedroom set. Past the furnishings section was a section for buying smaller items. The selection of comforters had particularly attracted customers that day. There must have been a sale.

There was quite a selection of bar stools as well; simple ones. Someone had put a couple of them into the main aisle, so a couple of folks narrowly avoided tripping over them. Some kid must have been playing a prank. Several people wondered why the parents couldn’t make sure the kids behaved in the store. They were farther away from residential areas, where the IKEA was built, but that didn’t nullify proper behavior. Once the day was over, most would be taking public transportation back home.
