summer-yard

We are just barely entering the season of spring but it’s already time to start thinking about summer, isn’t it? If you want to make any big changes to your home or yard for summer events and parties then you need to start thinking now about those changes.

Here are some ideas for how to bring a true sense of summer to your backyard in the next few months:

  • Add a pool. Nothing says summer like a swimming pool. You don’t need to go with an expensive in-ground pool. A small inflatable pool for adults or even a kiddie pool if you’ve got youngsters will do just fine in bringing that feeling of summer to your yard.
  • Create an outdoor kitchen. Look into cal flame bbq islands and fire magic outdoor kitchen accessories to get a few basic things that you’ll need to create an outdoor cooking area. Dining outside is a key characteristic of summer!
  • Plant a garden that will bloom in the summer. Now is the time to start planting those flowers and vegetables that will sprout in the early days of summer.

These are just some small ideas for bringing summer to your yard starting now. What other ideas are there?

I just had our outdoor kitchen remodled and had all cal flame appliances put in. We absolutely love it! There isn’t anything better than sitting outside relaxing with friends and family and enjoying a good dinner.

One of the things that I have spent a lot of time researching in the past year is home design. It’s a topic that really interests me. After all, your home is your sanctuary. If you can design it in a way that really makes you feel good then you will always feel safe and comfortable in your life no matter what extraneous circumstances are happening around you.

Something that I’m trying to decide as I continue to research home design is whether or not brand names matter when it comes to choosing furniture and appliances for accessorizing a home.

when researching appliances for outdoor kitchens, I seem to be naturally drawn to the Cal Flame brand. I randomly see appliances I like and then discover that they are cal flame outdoor kitchens appliances or cal flame bbq islands.
